Sloop Point Oyster Company is a shellfish FARMING operation specializing in the production of sustainable, surface-grown oysters. Our oysters, from the time they are planted to the time they head to market, are meticulously cared for by hand. With our oyster grounds directly adjacent to wildlife preserves, sloop points and old barney salts are grown in complete harmony with nature in the clean waters of the Barnegat Bay, a body of water once coveted for its abundance of superior quality wild oysters. The wild stocks are long gone but along with our partners, we are on a mission to reintroduce oysters and their beloved culture back to the Barnegat Bay.
